Luna Technologies is developing the highest performing sensing solutions on the market. We have in development a dynamic distributed sensing system that uses optical fiber consisting of continuous Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) sensors. With measurement rates of up to 1 kHz, cost effective fiber sensors, and significantly reduced installation time compared to equivalent foil strain gauges, this technology is ideal for obtaining dynamic strain data over a continuous object – something no other technology can achieve.
